Summary

In-vehicle dialogue management demand dialogue management that takes the cognitive workload of the driver into consideration. When doing so, it is important to distinguish between two types of cognitive load, namely if the cognitive load is affecting the driving behaviour or not. We will present a novel theory of how to do this, and also present findings from a user study made in the DICO project.
